“We are indebted to Mr. I. G. Foster for a glimpse into the old Rayville, as he supplied us with the picture printed above. The picture was made around 1912, and shows the old Rayville Bottling Works, which was located on Highway 80 east of town. Pictured on the porch are the proprietors, R. Q. Etzel and T. B. Justice. The business was later sold to the Coca Cola Bottling Company, with whom Mr. Justice was employed. Mr. Etzel was cashier of the old Rayville State Bank.”
